Abba, I begin this new week with anxious thoughts, concerns about the future, and questions what cannot be known tumbling through my thoughts. Settle my mind and heart, I pray. Silence the clamor in my head that asks, “what if?” and “why?”.

Let me live in the Truth of the inspired Word that promises – “You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, whose thoughts are fixed on you!” and may I “Trust in the Lord always, for the Lord God is the eternal Rock.” (Isaiah 26:3-4, NLT)

I pray for those who are without comfort today
that they will find the embrace of Your love.

I pray for those who live in fear
that they will be given a safe place.

I pray for those who wander without purpose
that Your Spirit will guide them to hope.

I pray for those who have failed
that they will be granted forgiveness and renewal.

Father God, make my faith deeper,
my hope secure, and
my love for You unquestioned.

In the holy Name of Jesus, I ask these things. Amen
