Abba, I pray for a ‘wow’ kind of day, one in which Your presence is evident in life’s ordinary things. Help me to be loving, to bring hope, and to share joy as I walk and talk with others.

So often, Lord, I let the sad crush the glad because I see only the challenges of the day, forgetting the promise of Your provision. Today help me to keep this Scripture assurance always in my mind – that “my God will meet all (my) needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19, NIV)

Give me the humility and trust of a child, remembering that You are my “Abba” and that You care for me more than I can know. Yes, I receive the words of Jesus – “And he said: “I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 18:3-4, NIV)

I pray for the broken world to know Your healing and ask that it begins in me and that Your grace will flow through me this day. As I live in Your Light may I be a light for others.
