Abba, how is it that You care for me, that You know my name, that You provide such a wonderful world in which I live? I worship You and gratefully acknowledge the grace that I am privileged to know.

Point me to the Way of Truth today. So many voices offer their counsel, so many options present themselves. Keep me, Spirit of God, in the Way of life everlasting and help me to bring Your kingdom to earth in the things I say and do.

I pray for those who are dealing with pain or sickness today that they would know healing through the power of Jesus.
For those who grieve, give comfort.
Speak peace, Lord Almighty, over the troubled world, turning hearts from conflict and confusion. In empathy may they give themselves to care.

Restrain evil by Your great power, confronting evil through us, who are empowered to live as ambassadors of the Kingdom of God. Give us courage and wisdom, and the willingness to die to Self in the pursuit of goodness and life.

Lord God, anchor us in Eternity and remind us that “we look forward to that wonderful event when the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be revealed.” (Titus 2)

All this I ask in His Holy Name. Amen.
