Lord Jesus Christ,

We are so thankful that You said, “Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”

Thank You for the grace and ease with which You walked upon the earth, for the generosity and kindness You showed to everyone You encountered, and for the compassion with which You sought out those who were lost, hurting, and in trouble. We are grateful that Your love reached even Your enemies, leading You to lay down Your life for them.

We believe this is the life You desire for us—a life without fear or lack, sustained by the sufficiency of our Father’s provision and filled with His abundant life flowing through You. You have promised to share with us that same love, that same life, that same joy, and that same power.

Lord, surprise us with Your presence today. Slip past our defenses, our worries, and our distractions. Gently open our souls, and speak Your living Word deep into our hearts. We believe You desire to meet with us, and we wait expectantly for You now.
