Abba, You have graced me with yet another beautiful morning, welcoming me to life that overflows with thanksgiving. I “sing to the Lord; (I) praise His name. Each day (I) proclaim the good news that He saves.” (Psalm 96)
Lord, I am grateful for the tentative news of war’s end in Iran. May Your Spirit rest on those who are decision-makers, leading to a lasting agreement. Bring peace to Ukraine and other war-torn regions, I ask in the Name of Jesus, our Prince of Peace. I know that true peace will never come until You, Jesus, return as King of Kings. “Even so, come Lord Jesus” I pray.
May I live in the joyful assurance that You have reconciled me to my Creator Father, knowing that deep and settled peace that is the birthright of those born of the Spirit in His family. Protect my heart and mind from anxiety, fear, and confusion.
This is my confession, my aspiration. “The old life is gone; a new life has begun! And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him. … And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.” (2 Corinthians 5)
I pray that You will guide me today to those who need care and love. Let me be accepting, compassionate, and faithful to the Call.
Shine brightly through me.
In Jesus’ holy name. Amen
