Abba, on this new day I come to You to renew my hope. Your promise is Life—full and eternal. Anchor my heart and mind in that truth, and keep me from the weight of anxiety.

When I am dismayed by the counterfeit “wisdom” of this world, remind me that “mockers are proud and haughty; they act with boundless arrogance” (Proverbs 21). By the truth of Your Word and the power of the Spirit, grow in me a strong and resilient faith.

I thank You for the blessings I enjoy—comfort, plenty, security, and love. May my life bring a rich return on Your investment. Let me reflect Your goodness and grace, enriching others as I have been made rich.

You are my strength, the source of all I need. I worship You in humility, remembering that “salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago” (Ephesians 2). What an amazing truth, O my God!

“Holy Spirit, faithful Guide,
Ever near the Christian’s side,
Gently lead us by the hand,
Pilgrims in a desert land.
Weary souls forever rejoice,
Hearing still that sweetest voice,
Whispering softly, “Wanderer, come!
Follow Me, I’ll guide thee home.”

Amen.
