Abba, with a heart hungry I come before You, the Bread of Life, the Living Water. Oh, Spirit of God feed us, fill us, and bring back the Springtime to our souls.

In a world where there is so much pride and darkness, lead us to humble service, make us bright lights of good wherever we go. You promise that the “light (will) shine out of darkness,” … that the “light (will) shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.” (2 Corinthians 4) Shine on me, in me, and through me, I pray. And when You do, all will know that “we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.”

On this Lord’s Day, captivate us with Your beauty. Make our worship truly pleasing in Your sight, unhindered by distractions that would steal Your glory. Help us to focus on knowing You, Jesus.

Speak to those who do not yet understand the amazing grace found at Your Cross, that takes away shame and guilt, which opens the way to the Father.
