Abba, this new day teach my heart and mind to trust and to worship You. So many things distract me from Your service. The noise of daily life obscures the Spirit’s voice.

Help me to know that You will provide for every need. Like those disciples who saw You multiply a small lunch into dinner for thousands, like Peter who heard You invite him out of the boat to walk on the water, may my faith be renewed and strengthened.  Open my “eyes of (my) heart… in order that (I) may know the hope to which He has called (me), …  and (Your) incomparably great power for (me).”

This promise I take for my life – that “God will meet all (my) needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4)

This day may You be honored in my thoughts, my words, and my actions. Let me love as You love, serve others with faithfulness and joy, and resist the many temptations that would drag me from Your way.
