Abba, today my heart humbly recognizes Your amazing love and grace. That You would love me—what a humbling thought. As I am loved, help me to love others.

Jesus, shine through me today. Make me a source of care, wisdom, encouragement, and peace in a world that desperately needs these things. Keep my concern from being only words. Help me truly see those who are so often overlooked.

I pray for those living in the misery of war and conflict, and for those who suffer under tyrannical regimes. Lord God, speak peace. Change the hearts and minds of those in power, and bring an end to hostility.

Jesus, You taught us to pray that Your kingdom would come and Your will would be done on earth as it is in heaven. I ask this earnestly today. Spirit of God, shine Your light into the darkness. Turn us back to You, Father, that we would love and serve You with joy.

With the psalmist I pray, “Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in Your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.” (Psalm 19:14)
