Abba,
The early morning darkness and steady rain mirror my heart today—heavy and sad. I come to You waiting for renewal, to receive the peace You promised, the peace that “passes human understanding.”

How comforting it is to know, Jesus, that You walk with me on days like this just as surely as when the sun shines bright. Help me to trust You fully, to hold tightly to the Truth that sustains me, and to follow You into the Light of Life.

I renew my expectation that You will “strengthen me with power through Your Spirit in my inner being, so that I may be rooted and established in love—a love that surpasses human knowledge—and be filled to overflowing with all the fullness of God.” (Ephesians 3) What a wonder You are!

Keep my heart at rest, fill my mind with wisdom, and let my words and actions today bring life to all I meet.

“Be Thou my Wisdom, and Thou my true Word;
I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord;
Thou my great Father, and I Thy true son;
Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.”
