Abba,

Let me know Your deep and abiding peace today.
The turmoil of the world — government shutdowns, wars, and cultural unrest — together with the suffering of those close to me, threatens to take hold of my heart and mind. Help me lean on You and truly trust in Your care.

Spirit of God, make this a living Word for me:
“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord,
‘He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.’” (Psalm 91)

I pray for Your Church — that she may know the Presence and power of the Spirit as she remains focused on Christ Jesus, her Lord and Savior. Help us not to abandon our mission to point the way, to speak and live as children of God, offering the hope of reconciliation with the Father and Creator.

Fill us with true worship.
Captivate us with Your beauty and love.
Lead us in the path of everlasting life.
